After two weeks of pushing back the opening date because of construction, Orchard View Veterinary Center finally opened it's doors on September 12th 2007. With excited new employees, an over-due pregnant practice manager, and a doctor who had finally realized her dream of owning her own veterinary practice, we set out to change our lives and the community we planted our roots in.
Next month will mark our two year anniversary, and what a two years it has been. We started with seven employees crammed into a small office for training, with no air conditioning (and as I recall 100+ degree weather), and construction workers all around. Just this year, we have made it all the way to being voted in as Statesman Journal's 2009 Best Veterinarian in the Mid-Valley.
Even though a lot has changed since we first opened, one thing has stayed the same; our mission to provide quality veterinary care for your pets and education on your pets’ health concerns while keeping a personal touch with you.
Technology has played a big role in keeping that mission. We have connected with owners via email reminders, a website where forms can be printed out prior to an appointment, and now we're venturing into to blogging in hopes of keeping our clients and all pet lovers educated and informed about us and veterinary medicine as a whole.
